What size and color will my puppy be when grown?

Here's some helpful information about the size and color of the different breeds we raise.

Goldendoodles

STANDARD

22" Up (from floor to shoulder)

Weight range tends to be 50-60 lbs. for a female and 55 to 70 lbs. for a male.

MEDIUM
16-20" high at the shoulders
Weight ranges from 35-50 lbs. when grown.

MINIATURE
Approximately 15" or less at the shoulder

Weight for both male and female is between 20-35 lbs.

NOTE: A MINI DOODLE IS NOT THE SIZE OF A MINI POODLE
NO breeder can guarantee the size of a doodle. Because these are hybrids, it's impossible to guarantee.

GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

One size only

The standard size for Golden Retrievers are approximately 20-24" at top of shoulder when grown. Currently, most of our female breeding dogs are 22" at the shoulders. We do, however, have 2 females, Mattie & Honey, who are less than 22" at the shoulders.

Poodles

TOY POODLE
Approximately 10" or under at the highest point of the shoulders.

MINIATURE POODLE
Approximately 10-15" at the highest point of the shoulder. Miniatures and Toys were bred down from the Standard Poodle.

MOYEN (KLEIN) POODLE
Approximately 15-21" at the highest point of the shoulder. Moyen or Klein Poodles are recognized in Europe but in the US, they are considered a Standard Poodle.

STANDARD POODLE
Any poodle over 15" at the highest point of the shoulder.

ROYAL POODLE
Any poodle over 26" tall.

The oldest of the three breeds of Poodle is the Standard Poodle, from which the Toy, Miniature, Moyen/Klein and Royal were developed. All 5 sizes of Poodles are recognized in other countries but the AKC in the US places all poodles in only 3 groups: Toy - Miniature - Standard.

The Moms normally determine the size of a puppy.

F1 Goldendoodles

An F1 Goldendoodle is a Golden Retriever bred to a Poodle. These Goldendoodles are also very consistent in the coat their coats are wavy - curly - shaggy-looking. They are normally are very low to non-shedding and are typically allergy friendly. We do NOT breed F1B Goldendoodles at this time this mix does produce a lot of coat and looks more like a poodle.

NOTE: We do NOT infuse Cocker Spaniels or Terriers into the mix to try to reduce size!
